BookyPets is an adventure video game designed to cultivate daily reading habits in children aged 7 to 12 in an engaging and accessible manner.

Children can now gamify their reading experience through a methodology that supports the development of reading habits and routines, as supported by scientific research.

The BookyPets application transports children to a fantasy world where they embark on exciting adventures alongside captivating characters. By defeating the malevolent monsters of Fear, Laziness, and Selfishness, they will unlock and collect the charming BookyPets while exploring hundreds of proverbs, fables, legends, and children's novels integrated within the game.

BookyPets seamlessly merges reading activities into the game's narrative with the aim of fostering consistent reading practices. Reading and gameplay are seamlessly intertwined.

Main features:

• Gameplay mechanics inspired by popular genres among 7 to 12-year-olds such as RPG, Tower Defense, and Collecting games.
• Over 50 BookyPets to rescue, collect, and evolve, including creatures like the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Unicorn, Blue Mermaid, and Winged Lion. Children will be motivated to continue reading until they have rescued them all.
• Character editor offering numerous customizable elements for creating unique in-game avatars.
• Access to more than 3,000 readings encompassing proverbs, traditional sayings, classic and contemporary tales, fables, and children's novels.
• Children earn rewards upon completing readings such as spells, energy boosts, and keys for unlocking BookyPets. Special awards can be unlocked through daily reading activities.
• Parents and teachers have a dedicated area providing insights into their child's progress including the total number of words read, daily reading duration, average reading comprehension score, and enhancements in vocabulary.
• Parents can also connect with their child's classroom group.
